Our fee for a bank letter evidencing your reserved funds is 1.5%-4% for a period of 30 days. The term may be renewed and the fee is negotiable for longer periods.
SWIFT MT799
Our fee to confirm your 30 day Proof of Funds with a SWIFT MT799 is 3% plus the cost of sending the SWIFT. The term may be extended and the fee is negotiable for longer periods.
SWIFT MT760
Our fee to lease an SBLC or Bank Guarantee for 12 months, delivered by SWIFT MT760, is 7.5%. We offer ‘Deferred Payment’ of the majority of this fee for selected clients.

One of the most useful financial tools available in the world of international trade is the Letter of Credit. Its cousin, the Standby Letter of Credit, is also very useful. While the two are very similar, they are not the same. They are used in similar situations but each guarantees something very different. First Fund Management’s professionals are here to help clients understand the difference, and if a Letter of Credit is the tool that is needed, help them understand which type they need.

  • Complete full Application and CIS documents which

  • Provide project summary and use of instrument
  • Provide exit strategy – how will the instrument be
  • returned at end of period?
  • Investor will review submission and if acceptable,
  • will issue contract draft including escrow instructions
  • If acceptable to you and after any and all due diligence,
  • contracts need to be signed and returned
  • You may contact the US Escrow attorney for verification
  • on the investors ability to close
  • Escrow is funded
  • Pre advice can be sent if required, followed by MT760

Option 2:

  • Payment of Fees using ICBPO issued by a top 50 World Bank
  • Investor will accept payment of fees using ICBPO.
  • Minimum $10 million
  • Fee is 10% to 14% depending on instrument size and issuing bank.
  • Issued for 1 year and 1 day
  • Investor requires a Bank Comfort Letter (BCL)in the prescribed format we will provide OR Proof of Funds sent via MT199/MT799.
  • BCL will be verified on a bank to bank basis.
  • If you cannot or will not provide the BCL or MT199, the investor will NOT consider your application
  • Complete full Application and CIS documents which we will provide
  • Provide Proof of Funds for the Full Fee via BCL or MT199/MT799
  • Provide project summary and use of instrument
  • Provide exit strategy – how will the instrument be returned at end of period?
  • Investor will review submission and if acceptable, will verify the funds to pay fees and then issue contract draft
  • If acceptable to you and after any and all due diligence, contracts need to be signed and returned
  • Investor will arrange pre advice followed by MT760
  • Full Fees into the investors attorney escrow account in USA before delivery
  • Investor based in USA
  • Attorney escrow is a long standing, reputable law firm
  • Investor “may” consider escrow nominated by you – however they will undertake extensive due diligence before approval (which will delay process)
  • Instrument will be issued by a top world bank, like Barclays, Deutsche, HSBC or similar
  • You MUST provide evidence you have funds to pay the fees with your application. Application will not even be considered without Proof of Funds (Bank Statement, Tear Sheet etc – can be sanitized if required)
  • Fee is 10% to 14% depending on instrument size and issuing bank.
  • Minimum is $3 million
